Who are we?

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.Since our charter in 2017, our American Legion Post 551 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country, and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families embodied in our American Legion preamble. |

Post Meeting Schedule: Officers meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 10AM Post 551 membership meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 11AM Refreshments and snacks provided |
Post Location: Post 551 meets at the Village of Southport JayCee building 311 N. Fodale Ave, Southport, NC 28461 |
